This was the first shape we returned to again and again. Handmade here in our studio, this terracotta planter is sized for the places it will live: a windowsill, a kitchen counter, the corner of a table. Wide enough for roots to settle, contained enough to keep close at hand.
It is finished with a raw, serrated edge, holding the mark of its making. The clay breathes and drains as it should, supporting the steady work of water and soil.
A vessel meant to be used often, and returned to each day.
