Handmade here in our studio, this vase is formed with an oval body, gently pinched at either side to draw the shape inward. The form gathers stems toward the center, holding them with a squeeze.
The surface is finished in a satin black glaze, smooth and light absorbing, like wet stone or cooled earth after rain. Each one is unique, with subtle variation in form and finish.
It sits easily on a table, bedside, or smaller surface, holding a few stems that can be changed often.
A vessel for cut flowers, shaped to hold them simply and well.
