The Column Trellis is a lasting piece of garden architecture. Designed by us and forged by a blacksmith in Marshfield, Vermont, it brings quiet structure to the garden in every season.
Hand forged from solid steel, it lends form long before vines take hold. As clematis, honeysuckle, climbing roses, and other climbers grow over its frame, the steel slowly develops a rich patina, settling more deeply into the landscape with each passing season. Part of our effort to work more closely with Vermont craftspeople, it is made to endure for decades.
